Is Rosewell and OCZ good for the money? I seen these brands on newegg and wonder if I should dare to invest in anything with one of those names?

I cant't say for OCZ, but the Rosewell ram I have used for a few computers that I have built for other people. Although I wouldnt recomend putting it in your gameing rig, I would say its safe to put in your mom's computer. All rosewell ram comes with a lifetime warranty so if you moms computer ever craps out because of the ram you can always get it replaced.

I've heard that OCZ is really trying to break into the high end high quality market, the new ddr2 sets are supposed to be really stable overclocked and had corsair and kingston beat in bench mark testing, I'm pickind up 2gb 800's for a project of mine

Rosewell = OEM equipment trying to go mainstream.

OCZ = working on getting things built for gamers. Still working on getting there name up there.

Hmm, from what I know, the pc3200 rev2 platinum is some of the best RAM out there...

Bleh on the OCZ. Go for some Hyper X or some Mushkin. OCZ is over rated.

Rosewill makes good periphs, not great pc parts.
I would recommend their thumb drives, not their ram.

If you want ram, go with the top 2, crucial or kingston.
Mushkin fails too easily and has a ****ty warranty.

I've never dealt with OCZ and probably never will until they are established and known to be good and reliable.
