I just saw loads of cash-flashing, and a smiling kid with an iPhone and ****loads of accessories. =\

What the hell happened?

In related news, I was speaking with a friend yesterday, and he was in Boston last week.
He says he walked past the Apple Store and there was an absurd line.

So the next day, they where at another mall, and just walking past the store, an Apple employee asked them if they wanted to come in and check out the iPhone.
20 minutes later, he had it in his hands.

Ironies?
He doesn't use it... so it went straight to the hands of his kid.
Lucky kid.

`Basically some kid was at the head of the line. The woman comes along with what she claims in $160,000 in cash and wanted to buy out the stock to sell them on eBay at a tidy profit.
She offers the kid $800 for the first place in the line, he says "Sure!", takes the cash and lets the lady in.
Lady goes "I want to buy all your iPhones! Here is cash!" the store goes, "Sorry Ma'am, limit one iPhone per customer!"
Kids gets $800 cash and still gets his iPhone, except he gets all sorts of accessories with his extra money, then he acts very smug while lady looks pissed at paying an extra $800 to only be able to buy one phone.
Hilarity ensues.
