I went to the first link, the Naval ship and submarine in Sydney Harbour...

I do believe that is the Sydney Maritime Museum, which has a permanent naval ship and submarine display. I have, many times as a young child, run around on those ships on my various school excursions to the museum.

So that's not very strange to me at all. The others are pretty cool though.

Yeah running around on the Vampire which is the Frigate and the sub is a russian one. They are part of the maratime musem.

it's interesting to look at Area 51 and looking at the crators near the base. I dont think theres any UFO type deal going on, they just test new technology for the military

I got one for you. I was taking a targeting class on the Amphib Base in Coronado CA. It used to be a German Officers prison camp during WWII. Check out the old buildings.

I thought this was a joke, but it's legit. They had one of the prisoners that was an architect design some of the buildings.

I wonder which ones?

I think the other two were failures before they learned how to build it right, lol. It's supposedly a symbol of good luck before the natzi's took it as their seal

I just realized that same building is on that website you posted.

They don't know the real story behind it though.

Also the other 2 buildings are the shapes of War Eagles another Nazi symbol for all you history buffs.

But just like I said, the story is legit as far as I know.

Those guys are pretty cool. They get alot of the targeting imagery we use at work. It's pretty funny, Google Earth has much better imagery of the US than any of the military stuff. We use Google Earth all the time for building stuff for training. It seems Digital Globe is much busier taking hi res pictures of other places important.
