So i decided to do a easy mod and make a window in my Compaq Case. Ive already cut out part of the side door on the case. I was wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers on what clear plastic to use for the window? I have a rough idea but wanted some expert advice on the type of plastic, and thickness and all. Thanks in advance!

Some 1/8" plexiglass or perspex is what you need.

Im going to be going to lowes or somewhere similar tomorrow for the plexiglass, thanks for the help on what i should look for. How would you guys reccommend to attatch the plastic to the panel? i was thinking some type of screws but not sure what kind. im pretty sure some sort of glue would be a mess and not go as nice as screws. but this is my first case mod.

I would get some allen head bolts and some nylock nuts for it. Space them around the window every 3 inches or so (go with what you think looks right) around the window.
