Hi:
As you probably have seen I made The blast door Lcd mod.
It works connected to the tv out of the 8800 ultra but even in dual mode it is just an extension of the desktop I was hoping to load the mb temperature and fan settings software utility on the lcd at bootup And other video's.
seperate from the main monitor.

Has anyone done this?

Can I use a pci video card with tv out to connect to the composite of the lcd?
And run the 8800 ultra at the same time?

I wanted to ask before I buy something I don't need.

Thanks
Charles

for me, I use Nvidia. I set up the (dont freak out on the vid, I'm into video, not 3D) 6600GT for one monitor and the vid out, and the second, 6200 on the second monitor. The 6600 offer me to extend the full screen vid on the output I want

This is just a small 5 in lcd I need to know if a low end pci card with tv out will do what I want on it and let my 8800 ultra still work on the main monitor.
I'm not talking sli. two seperate video cards.

I have never used two video cards before.

Sure, just make sure the pci card you get is Nvidia so the drivers are by the same people and you should be fine

edit: the cheapest video card i could find that matches what you need is $41.99 + shipping on newegg, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130188
