I am going to get my first car sometime soon. Ever since our Minivan (yes, minivan) had a digital speedometer, I have gotten in love with digital speedometers. The only problem is that they are so hard to find. I found a special deal on a BMW 325 Convertible for under $6000 w/ alot of miles on it. It has a nice speedometer, but I was wondering if theres any way for me to put a digital one in there?
The only other places I've seen digital speedometers are in Buick Reattas and some Cadillacs. Is there a place that I can buy digital speedometers?
Thanks,
Indybird

ANY hotrod shop should have them. If not, they should be able to order them. :)

I drive right by there when I go to work.

Wow, those are really sweet, and exactly what I was looking for but, are they really that expensive!? $700+. Holy ****! Does anyone know of a slighty more wallet-friendly digital gauge?
Thanks,

You could always use your modder's ingenuity and make one. ;)

Some early 240sx models had a digital speedo everything else normal just the speedo. I also know the some early Ford Probes had a digital gauge cluster.

My dad had a red 2006 Honda Civic that had a digital speedometer...
...then he traded it in for a 2007 Ford Mustang GT. It has this little diagnostic LCD under the analog speedometer. Very cool.

Yeah, my 90 Ford Probe LX had one. I really do kinda miss that ___ sometimes. :cries in corner for a minute:
I do miss the digital readout though. Was looking for one for my ZX2 but couldn't find one that was worth less then the car.

you can try JEGS (http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/topcategory_10001_10002_-1) too.
They offer a free catalog for hours of enjoyment :oP
