I think the idea behind the Hot Hardware Deals forum section is that when you are browsing around and you stumble upon a great deal, this gives you a place to mention it and share your great find with everyone else.

There will always be tons and tons of rebate and instant savings deals, we don't need to read about every single one of them. Just the really good ones.

lol not sure where that came from, I think I'm feeling a tad bit bored at the moment. ^_^

Pretty decent find though, I'm not a big fan of mail in rebates, but the instant savings combined with the promo code and possibly even combined with the mail in rebate (4 months from now lol) it's a pretty good deal. Basically $50 smackers off. I wonder if the promo code works with a instant savings/mail in rebate offer?
