Alright, time to post some pics cause it is totally shaping up, and i just finished the hardest piece of a case mod i've ever done.

this project was going to case this computer, and then i was going to sell it on ebay then upgrade, but i've become attached to this case i'm working on now, and i think i'm going to use it to house my upgrade. and sell my old case, which is a uv blue acrylic case, with a pain in the ass way for getting to anything inside the case.

I started this out as a small project whre i would make all the sides chrome looking, but when i put the paint on it was darker than what the spray can said on the top, and not even close to chrome. so now after buffing it a bit it looks like tarnished metal, the kind you would see in a factory, or the imagination of a factory, on a old beast of a machine.

I also did this, semi useles key mod, which i made a video of and put on youtube.

And today and friday i started remaking the front of the case out of expanded steel, cbecause i couldn't think of a good way to make it look with the origianl front. its a nice front but it got scratched up and i really couldn't think of anything to make it better looking besides painting it. I was going to post some pictures of it yesterday, but i had to get ready to goto some family thing and didn't have enough time to post. i would have basically posted a picture of the expanded metal in its flat form, with marks all over it from measuring. and it was cut out with metal snippers, the basic shape of the from before i had bent it into place.

today i bent it, it was very hard to bend, but i did it, and my dad said it would be impossible, and "good luck." thanks for the luck, it worked, and looks great imho.

with my car as backdrop, to show contrast. the metal is currently tarsnished and rusty, i plan on painting it the shiny metallic paint i got, just so i don't have a hazard in my room, just incase i cut my self and get tetanus. I already cut myself a ton of times with this piece, and i'd highly recommend anyone doing this were gloves, like i didn't. i basically forgot the second time around, but remembered after i stabbed my thumb again.

doh just noticed a typo on the subject line.

Is your car a G20?

Anywho...

Although there's not a whole lot to see, it does look good and keep it up.

Is the case you're using from the Coolermaster Centurion series? I have one of those cases, they're pretty cool (no pun intended). Cool front panel idea there.
