I'm planning (but might never get round to due to lack of funding. :( ) a new PC (why? just for the hell of it. ;) ) and I'm just slightly confused by something.

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/productinfo.asp?WebProductID=575252 <--- the mobo I'm planning around. What I'm trying to understand is this: why are the DIMM slots two different colours? Does this mean they're for different types of RAM or something?
So, if I got this RAM ( http://www.scan.co.uk/products/productinfo.asp?WebProductID=202607 ) would I only be able to put one of the DIMMs in?

:? Please excuse my n00bness.

ah OK. So I can use that RAM in that motherboard?
Great.
(Now, what can I sell to afford this? :D )

yes, 1 colour will be one channel and the other one will be the other channel

I kinda got rid of my last post because I forgot that fast that there were only 2 slots anyways. lol

Bu yeah, if there were 4 slots, you can run single channel or dual channel.
