first off hi, this is one of my first posts around hear and i plan on checking on often as well.

anyway, i'm building my first case here and i have almost everything planned out already but i'm having some questions about the back panel.
i'm building this case from wood, and i was wondering what i could do for expansion card slots.
i'm thinking of using a sheet of aluminum there buy i was wondering what you guys would suggest.

either cut out a whole mobo tray and back from an old case or buy one and just screw it in to the case

You need to take a look at this thread you do. (http://thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6712)

Very good example of wooden cases, and how to make them work.

And welcome to the forums by the way!

Thanks for the advice so far.
while the other thread loads (dial up...) i just want to let you guys know that i already have the frame and sides make, I just want to get this step out of the way before i go further and find out that i made a mistake.
once i get near finished I'll start a worklog at yoshi's forums but once i finish i'll copy it here.
