We have a new review that I am sure all of you will find very informative. We took a look at the PolarFLO TT Series Chrome Basic System Set of waterblocks.

Read the review here (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=4) .

Quick question. In this (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/polarflo/polarflo5.jpg) photo, there's a heatsink between the CPU and the connectors. Normally this would benefit from the airflow generated by a CPU fan. Presumably it will run hotter with the water cooling?

This is a problem that can be fixed using the fans which (usualy) come with most motherboards. They clip onto the heatsinks for use with a passively cooled or watercooled cpu.

Unfortunately that motherboard doesn't come with fans, but it's only the mosfet heatsink, and older revisions of that board didn't even have the heatsink.
Also, most cases have a space for a fan right next to it, so it wouldn't be a problem.

I like the fact that the review was realistic and honest - I've seen so many reviews where the reviewer will be so happy about getting free hardware to review, that he/she overlooks the bad aspects or dulls them down.

Oh ****, I'm supposed to be on a plane in 5 hours and it's midnight.
Off to bed. Talk to y'all in a week.
