With just about any program I download and try to install I get a message that says the cab files are corrupt... Files that are pretty small such as aim intall fine.

I tried to install Photoshop CS3 trial and it said that the cab files were corrupt even though I tried installing it several times. When I changed the ethernet cord from my computer to a new one and put it in a different port in my router I could install Photoshop and then I had problems again.

Ive tried re-installing programs and such but they still say the cabs corrupt.

I tired to install a game today from the disk and it had a problem, it was a little scratched but I dont think its scratched enough not to install.

This is after I re-installed windows xp(x86). I also tried repairing xp from the disk but still no luck.
