Poor frog (http://www.engadget.com/2007/07/25/twitching-frog-server-gets-called-art/).

The server is actually inside of the frog and can make the frogs legs twitch.

I go told about Galvanism in Physics back in school and I will say now what I said then. This is gross.

olli, it's probably in preservation liquid.

This pic from his site makes me want to puke (http://www.conceptlab.com/frog/hertz-frog-highres.jpg).

Actually I think it states that it is in non conductive mineral oil, that might slow down the decaying process. Hopefully it will last until the next upgrade.. :D

Why would anyone do this? I understand, because they can. But why? Its just gross.

I don't find it gross.

I think it's pretty nifty. He could figure out how to trigger neural impulses and hook it up through a serial port or something. Serial-frog-server.... gogogogogo

I Agree thats messed up! Dissecting for science thats one thing, but animating a dead toad?

The computer inside the frog stores a website that enables users to trigger physical movement in the corpse:
the resulting movement can be seen in gallery, and through a live streaming webcamera.

Someone needs to go strap some servos on one of those weirdos..
so I can click a button on a website and make them slap themselves.

Kind of a cheat because the frog carcass is simply a stupid meat puppet, and there is no physiological link to any of the nerves--just mini servos that simulate twitching.

I'm with Eclecticos on this one.
