At Bestbuy... but bestbuy is extremely overpriced... They were 160 there and I can't seem to find them anywhere else.

Here's a 15" I saw there (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8294133&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat104900050009&id=1172880155026)

but there was an even smaller widescreen with no speakers! It was bad ass

Yea. .Ive been Looking around the internet for cheap LCD's and it seem like the smaller you go
the more expensive they get. . as far as moddin' screens go. .

I wish someone could find 4"-8" screens for $40-$75 the ones Ive found are all $175.00-$245.00
I was like what the Hell. .I could get a 22" for that price.

I looked around for them for a while. .
Now you can get 5"-7" Screen with a Portable DVD player for $40. .
but if you want just the LCD monitor or open frame kit it will cost you 3x or 4x Times the amount.

For fun I telephoned the principal importer/distributor of winmate screens into the UK and got some prices for Open Frame Screens. I pretended I needed a one off for a prototype:

6.4" without touchscreen £309 = $627
6.4" with touchscreen.... £379 = $769

Plus shipping.

How about 15 1/2 times the amount ? :D

I told him I could buy a portable DVD player for £59 and take the same screen out of it and told him I would do that and asked him if he thought market economics made sense. He waffled.

Won't let you rep me? I've been disreputated!

Be careful on which one you bid on. The vertical ones are not touch screen - the horizontal ones are. Glad to help :)

You can't rep the same person twice in a row. You have to "spread it around" before you can rep them again.

I contacted the seller and he has about 90 more he will be putting up!! (where the hell did he find these!?) Before there were bids, the buy it now were for 60 bucks so don't go bidding over 80. More are on the way but the seller will most likely be switching to epassporte so set up your accounts now.

"I had planned on putting up much more. I have about 90 more but paypal has recently put a limited access hold on my only account and I am currently not able to conduct business. In light of this I am having second thoughts. Any suggestions for a paypal alternative?"

Well ... Who else wants one? I want three :D If we can offer him $45 a shot to move 20 or 30 of them he might jump at it.

There are two ways the market can work at such a point: we and the rest of the world wait for the guy to resolve his issues and bid the hell out of each other on ebay ... or as mentioned above, take the bull by the horns and turn the market on its head. If there is a desire amongst forum members to take half his stock and he isn't selling it elsewhere that is called "leverage" .. it's why supermarkets are cheap - when you buy lots you bargain low. Anyone live near the guy?
