This is the only site that specializes in Videos of Case Mod components !! Trying to get the word out via the forums because it takes forever for the Search Engines to catch on:

www.CaseModVideos.com

After spending a fortune on parts, and filming/editing for several months - the site is ready. I have filmed demos of the components, and video clips of my own acrylic case project as well - still a ton of work to do there but here it is "before" even adding any of my Fans, CCFL's, Bubbler's, etc to it:

These videos show the Case Mod items in actual operation - in both light and dark. I did most of the demos, and my 16-year-old daughter helped (she did some Fans, Fan Grills, and Fan filters) as did my Wife (she did Case Feet, EL Wire, and LED Case Handles - please excuse her accent).

Looks cool, I'll check out the vids. Looks like a nice mod too. Was the computer a family PC or just something for fun? Sounds like everybody did something.

Also who do you have for webhosting? I'm trying to find space for some videos I might be making myself.

The modded computer will replace my aging Dell - wife and kid have their own. I just thought it was cool that before you add anything to the computer, you can have it look very interesting by using lighted primary components (LED CPU fan, LED clear PSU, LED Memory, etc. It will be interesting to take my time and play around with different lights and fans and see what they look like - and of course, film the various components inside the clear case.

I am using "InMotion" for my hosting service. They seem to have great prices and their servers are fast. LunarPages is good too (I used to use them, but they booted me for having the WinXP KeyGen in my downloads section - aaarrrggghhh).

Well for a video website I would have surely wished the videos had worked. And i dont kno the colors of the site hurt my eyes. But im just in a whiney mood.

Problem I run into with most videos is that I have to move to a different machine to be able to watch them because they are MS only format. Blah

I would 2nd the color thing. You want people attracted to your site, not pushed away becase of color. Bright obnoxous colors work best in real estate.

I agree - I wish all could play these - and the site is made for MS users with the IE browser and Windows Media Player. I imagine it is possible, but I really don't know how to have these play on every conceivable computer setup. The biggest major streaming video site that I go to is "ifilm.com" and they use embedded wmv. They have millions of hits, so I went with that format. "Most" people have WMplayer on their machine as it comes loaded by default with WinXP. I did consider Real Player (and used that for the dial-up) but less people have that than have WMplayer. I did consider mpeg clips but it does not stream as well. As to the colors - I chose that as a theme to mirror case mods, because most of the components use bright, neon-type colors. It probably is a bit too much with the multiple colors - I will probably change that later to just 2 colors on each page (one for headings and one for text).
