Computer Desks

So, I'm in the market for some new components in the Fortress of Solitude as I like to call it. Looking for some nice new shelving and a new computer desk, etc. And I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions. I want to do something nice, I like the modular ones you can get from Tiger Direct.

I think the best would be to buy something pretty/good quality that you like... then customize that to your likings.

Wood is a very cool material to work with. :)
So is metal... and what the heck, so are Master Cards.... =\

id sy your best to come up with a fairly simple design yourself and build it. you could do a frame from 3x2 timber and cover it with MDF and maybe buy some units with drawers and stuff. That way you have something that suits your needs perfectly and makes the most of the space you have
