its a brnad new setup am2 4gb ram still same nvidia 7600gt tho :-( 400gb raid array 2 17inchers etc but ive got a cooler master geminII heatsink on it the one with 2 120 mm fans on it and like 13 fans there when i won the contest 2 months ago there were only 4 people in the competition so i doubt there will be like a whole bunch of people their btw my names ben if u didnt figure out and were only 2 years apart your older

Does it cost anything to enter the contest and what type of entries are allowed? I have my BF2 case that I might be able to finish if I were allowed to still enter.

OK, I made up my mind and Im going if I finish my BF2 mod in time. If not then I cant justify the 2 1/2 hour drive. I figure 8 hours a day for the next 4 days should get it done. Paint will still be drying at the show 8) . Its a good thing I dont have to work this week.

sweet!!! this is turning out to be alot cooler then i expect but i cant resubmit the armor back in so i have to come up wit sometin fast im thinking the lego mod to my viao thats a peice of crap ill need an agp card but my dad said i cant gut it so i have to let the box stay there

While I don't think I'll enter the contest, I'll give MC a call today to see if they can make some special arrangements for me to set up Doom 3. As you can imagine, I'll need a cart (its very heavy) and easy access to the store...Also a pretty solid table to display it on. When they open at 10am, I'll get in touch with the manager.

i just found out my dad spent 200 bucks on xoxide buyign me an acrylic case and 100 bucks worth of lighting **** its gonna be sick!!!! im so glad everyones going this is gonna be badasss and btw crimson there wont be all that much room to setup because last timew e did it in the knowledge center like place where they do seminars and if everyones bringing their rigs theres gonna be a **** load of pcs so u may not get ure own table but its possible

dont worry i can have them turn the lights off its in a room and they have dimmer switches for the lights we turnedem off last time

You can get to Microcenter by taking exit 60 on RT80 that puts you on 20N, The store is right down the road.

I originally bought it for my sister when I was building her computer. The first one they sent me was damaged by UPS, so they sent me another without asking for the old one back. FREE CASE and PSU!

TBO, I'm not a huge fan of it either. I'm just using it as a temp housing while the USMC case is under construction.

yo well the comp was okay :/

Ben got the employee award (not suprised, his case burned a hole in my retina) and each of the trainees put like 4 ballots in at once and his cousin is one of the workers there :()
but...
i got interviewed by a newspaper dude and will hopefully have some of my stuff in the newspaper!?!?!?!? yay he also took like a hundred pictures of me and my case :/

some other kid had a nice setup in a Stacker case with all white lights

it was really cool finally meeting a person from the forum because it is true that you people actually exist

edit: sorry for the semi-prejudice comments it is that i am that angry because the kid with the Stacker case should have TOTALLY one because his comp was real nice! :(

sux luke got the ban but if he said sumtin racist i understand why he got banned but i dont get what he meant by my cousin working their cuz my cuz dont work their that was the other 2 guys that had a cousin who worked their and they had like 20 people just vote for their case without even lookin at everyone elses cases so it was obvious the 2 guys with the other acrylic case won the customers vote brought in people soley to vote for their case it wasnt fair and the guy with the cm stacker shoudl have won customers vote like luke said it was fun to see him their and meet someone from the forum but we need a bigger turnout next month!:banana:

I get a bit irritated at folks who ask me to vote for their projects (and it happens all the time) because it is cheating. I usually vote against them for trying it. One case that pissed me off was years ago when the greatest comic who ever lived, Bill Hicks lost comic of the year to that moron Carrot Top. Turns out, college campuses all over the country were handing out a free beer if they cast their vote for the veggie. pfft...
