Title says it all. I have a ATI 1900 XTX vidoe card and was thinking about adding a water block for it to my cooling system that I'm currently building.
I'm not sure which one to get though. I found this one http://www.xoxide.com/koolance-vid-200-l06.html and this one: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2069/ex-blc-287/Danger_Den_Tyee_ATI_X1800_1900_1950_Video_Card_Coo ler.html?tl=g30c87s144 Obviously a big difference in price.

But thats it. I already know what most of you are going to say and thats to save my money and ditch the ATI card and get a GeForce 8800 GTX but I dont' have that kind of money (Right now) that is.

So what do you guys think?

This (http://www.dangerden.com/store/product.php?productid=161&cat=47&page=1) is what I'm using for mine, it's alot cheaper and will get the job done.

going by the two you selected i assume you want a full water block. so here (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=240&products_id=21300) is a EK water block.

or the fact that you can now make your own! side question for you if you by a 1 pound block of copper and you try to make a heatsink and you mess up can you resell the block and scraps for the same price?

well...besides the fact i can make my own... i just look at it from a machinist outlook and think they could do so much better..

but if i scrap a piece it gets recycled....i dont get near as much as i paid for it...

look at it this way...aluminum is about $8 a pound to buy....we get somewhere between 35-75 cents when we recycle it
