Where can I get a Laptop ... ?

Hey guys.

Where might I be able to get a Laptop for $100-150 USD? I know P4 ones are rare finds at that price, but are there any P3s anywhere? I've checked eBay multiple times and people "scam" you at the shipping. ($40?! I've seen shipping for laptops at $15...)

Anyways, if anyone knows anything, it'd be a great help! :D

Check craigslist.. problem is searching in Ohio is teh sux0rz for computer parts. At least in my area anyway (Warren/Youngstown). Check in Akron, Toledo, Cleveland, Columbus. Bigger cities.

I'd have to agree with you, Ohio's Craiglist isn't real big on PC parts or even... PCs in that matter. Hmm, I'll check around on there. Anyone know of anywhere else?

Honestly, you'd probably have the best luck going to an out-of-the-way PC shop. One in my area had a 486 Lappy for 15$. You should be able to get a P3 on the cheap that way too.

I had a Pentium 2 laptop that I got for free.

That ended up getting destroyed....by me...on purpose. I still have the cooling fan though! :)
