smoker unit?

yo,

i recently looked at pauls doom3 mod(for 123 times :D) and i was still wondering what this smoker unit is?
is it 12V?
where can i buy it?
does this thing work good to smoke a unit-4-chimney i need one so hard, everything i found ws to fire up or to weak or to expensive, so PLEASE HELP MEEEE :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

hmm maybe i found something. in his worklog [#18 post] he mentions he is using a sratch built steam generator..... sooo

10 bucks are ok, so does this one works with oil or something? a very important thing *NO OPEN FIRE* should run with 12v, well i want paulies this thing rocks :D

i think they work with oil, im not sure. wats wrong with a little fire? :D your going to have to bring the the volts in order to run it off a 12v line. i would send paul a PM to see where he got his steam generator from

i found one in a german webshop, 23 bucks works with 12v 700mA looks perfect, the problem with the fire, i couldnt lit it up without disasembling the whole mod, and the radiator and the PSU are VERY close to it and i want to go to the german championship with it and i think they have problems with lighting up a fire in their hall

yea, that would be a problem.... fun to witness... but a problem none the less.
the one you mention sounds perfect, runs off 12v lines without any modifications :D

I don't think I would trust it enough to actually put it inside.. but mounted anywhere outside would be ok.
