Possibly an over-dramatic title but...
I've decided that the country I'm in now has gone a little bit OTT, and I want to escape.
Can anyone point me in the direction of some help with emigrating from the UK?
I'm not kidding... :(

Aussie Aussie Aussie, oi oi oi!
'nuf said. ^_^
Come To Canada.
Well Ontario I know is pretty cool, and British Columbia. I'd say stay away from Quebec. But otherwise come on over!
You want to escape i can't blame you tbh, this country is ****ed up. ****ed up far too much and the government (or that's what they call themselves) is doing bugger all. When i can, i want to get out too but then it makes life harder with money :| Have you tried google? or something, i dunno who could help really.
If you wanted in to the country that's easy, a boat to the beach usually does it...
Come over here for a while, go out into the countrside and chillax for a while. Government? Our ruler is known to 100% of the population as Bertie, what more do you need to know about the Irish attitude?
Nothing is as bad as the US has been in the last couple years. The wiser you get the more disgusting the country becomes.
The grass is always greener...
Mmm... move to Australia.. I dreamt about that for a long time actually. My wife and I were considering that before we had the baby, but now we are lucky to be buying a house and a guaranteed 3 year contract at my current job. :D
New Zealand looks nice too, as does most of Northern Europe, but to be honest with you, I'd stick with Canada. British Columbia is my absolute dream location, and once I pull together my business I'll buy that multimillion dollar waterfront property on the island, and live there. :D
One of my favorite comments on this? If you are not disgusted you are not paying attention.
This is the correct motorcycle.
Good luck getting into Australia. Unless you have skills (and I mean top notch skills), your chances of getting a working visa for more than a year are almost nil. I have done the investigation, but that was many years ago. (Still on the table though). I have a friend who is married to a nice Aussie living down under and he is not able to get a well paying job nor even able to renew his working visa anymore so they are moving to Oregon in February.
Canada? They take anyone that shows up... JK! :p
At one time or another everyone gets fed up with their government. You can not please all the people all the time or even some of the people some of the time.
i vote for a stop off in Aussie and then permanent residence in Canada!
