xp crash need help

When I start my computer I Get a message:
The folowing file is missing or corupted.
<Windows root>\system32\ntoskrnll.exe

Where can I find the file and how can I install it? I hane a bootable copy of Slax 4.2.0 but I don't know alot of linux.

I need the files on the computer for homework this weekend! Any help would be appreciated.

I almost forgot the system is running Windows XP Pro it is a Pentium 333 with 128mb Ram.

what does it matter how much you know about linux? you want a windows file dont ya? google it Im sure its available for a seperate download. google your specific problem Im sure more people have come into contact with it. I was able to track this down.

BTW the file should have just 1 L in it, ntoskrnl.exe

you will need you xp disk to do a repair reinstallation.
