Mid-range soundcard recommendations?
I'm in the middle of putting together the specs for a new 'puter and I have problems deciding on a soundcard. I know nothing about them so I hope you clever people can guide me.
What I have in mind is a good, solid PCI card for less than $200. It will mainly be used for gaming and watching movies/telly, but might be needed for decent quality recordings in the future.

You should grad the latest drivers right away as well. Seems to be one of those things that people list as a con, meanwhile its common sense!.
