Well guys I thought I would finally post as I have been a lurker here for some time. All of you have some pretty mad skills. This is what i have been working on. The case started out as a stock silver chieftec matrix series tower. I then ordered the door with the side window as I didnt have the time to cut one. It stayed like that for some months. Then the spark hit me. After many weeks of chain smoking, enough obscenity from cutting hands and spilt paint, and some time spent in local junk yards this waht we finished with(minus the front which is still drying). It is kinda of a tribute to cars/truckdrivers. There are accents on it that appeal to both. MY father was a mechanic most of his life , therefore i was around all sorts of vehicles my whole life. The system isnt that great as far as hardware specs but it gets the job done as far as I am needing it to.

Proc - Athlon xp 2600+ oced to 3000+
mobo - Soyo KT880 Dragon 2
mem - 2 x Mushkin Blackline pc3200 1gb sticks
vid - BFG FX5500oc 256mb AGP
Sound - Audigy 2 Platinum ZS
VId cap - ATI ve pci video capture card
Opticals - Liteon dvd-Rom and dvd-RW
Storage - 1 x 250 gb western digital
1 x 200 gb western digital
1 x 30 gb western digital
2 x 80 gb western digital
3 x 40 gb western digital
total = 760 gb
monitor - 22" proview widescreen

Next upgrade planned is the vid card as this one sucks.

Fresh Viper Blue Paint
Custom cut window in right panel
Wrapped all 5.25 bays with cf wrap
5 port 10/100 switch in 5.25 custom panel
Cut fan ports in the left door above window
6 outlet surge protector inside of case (ran of pws and to power switch)
Chrome AMD letters on drive cage inside comp
All the blue lighting you can stand.

I like the blue, and the CF, but I'm not sure about the right side window. What do you see through it? Drive cages? :think:

How about the front panel, are you going to replace it?

yeha the front panel is still in the shop drying. THe only thing you can see through that side window is the amd lettering and some light thats about it. And yes it is big but i need the room to house the hdd's and such. This is the media server/my personal gaming system for the home. The paint is akenzo noble viper blue.

Does everyone just have to have a better monitor than me?

Welcome to TBCS, and your case is ****ing huge! I saw the HD list and I was like "How does he fit them all", but I see now.

Totally love the mud-flap girl! And that is the first time I've seen a power strip on the case interior, cool though!
