Killer Camo, Digital Camouflage Effect *Tutorial*

Digital Camouflage is the wave of the future. All the Armed Forces are using it now.

This technique can be used for any color of digi camo.

What you need:

• Basic airbrush set up
• Shelve liner, really cheap at Wal Mart
• Masking Tape
• Primer, White base color, Transparent Black, Transparent White, Blue, and Clear-Coat

Here's the airbrush colors.

First Step. Prepped the mouse by priming, sanding, then I used White spray paint for the base.

Then I used the free-hand stencil I made from the shelve liner, to start airbrushing. But first let's look at how I made the Stencil.

The stencil is just random patterns cut out of the shelf liner. I took care to keep the cuts at the corners of the squares to keep the pattern looking blocked off on all the edges. Then I filled in most of the area with masking tape, once again taking care not to mess up the blocky pattern.

Then I laid down the first 2 colors, Transparent Black, then Grey (made from mixing the Transparent Black and Transparent White).

Then I did one more layer with a Blue Grey color(made from mixing the Transparent Black, Transparent White, and Candy Blue)

Then I clear coated it and viola. Here's how it came out.
