I bought my steppers off of eBay. I got four of them for about 50 dollars including shipping, a steal considering they have about 350 oz/in of holding torque!
I built the controller myself.
what is the power of the router
this is coming along well Gearhead
that almost sounds like computer talk now... 24 bits, 16 bits left.
i just had a random thought... took me long enough to think about this. how about chroming everything after you're done building. im still working on that keronite stuff... but patents are getting in the way of the actual theory behind it, and werent you talking about doing a keronite coating? anyways... chrome would be just as cool, but not as hard.

chrome.... you see if i would live is Canada or UK or US that would be one of my first options, but back here this is no where to be found, and if i find it they would probably say that they would help me if i need 500 pieces:mad:
tlakin about chrome... did you know anything about hydrogen-enrichment
it seems to take place in steel pieces after chroming, as a result of the acids beeing used :?
And about the keronite, you could say that this thing is top seecret or something, i cant find a damn thing about it, except one site(http://www.keronite.com/power_unit.asp)
i live in canada if you need help with something like that besure you let me know
i just had an idea!
i'll see if slug can help with SketchUp
ill look into it. it doesnt make sense to me, but ill do some research.Quote:
