I painted the TV part by first taping off the screen.
Here is the back panel removed and the front.
And the inside of the recessed part.
The outside front
I also painted the front trim ring:
and I got started on the motorized panels on the front.
Thats it for now.

Re: Project: Motorized Madness!
thanks for everyone's words of encouragment! I'm just letting everyone know that Its completed and up and running. I'm working on it as I type this. I still have to take some final pics of everthing but here are a few "teaser images" untill I get the final pics and video done.
Here it is all assembled with the flash on. I still have to glue the "Motorized Madness" logo on the side because I have to paint the back side black otherwise the light shows through and looks bad. You can also see the how I scratched the paint off the inside of the turbine tube sliding the resevoir in and out. -Very tight fit! so I will have to do some touchups there.
Up and running with the lights on. -you will notice at the bottom of the turbine it appears that the led lights are only on in the front. well they are and thats because I changed out my static solid on led's to 2 led light tubes that are set to motion so it looks like things are happening inside. You will see this effect in the video.
And to treat myself for finishing it, and because my current desk was too small for the case to sit on, here is a shot of my new computer desk!
Hope this teaser gets your mouths watering...

Re: Project: Motorized Madness!
Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and girls, and of course, Modders of all ages, After 7 1/2 months, Countless hours, and alot of money later, I give you Motorized Madness
And now, the long awaited videos:
I realize the video and lighting quality is not that good. I'll try to replace the videos when I get some better ones done.
I hope everyone likes what I have created here. I know I had a great time working on this project and I wanted to send a personal thanks out to everyone for all their words of encouragement, praise, suggestions and patience while I finished this case.
