Re: TBCS New Members Introductory Thread
Hi all. I like what i see in the way of mods on this site. As someone who has been interested in all things mechanical for about 30 years and in the last couple of years PC's, i am keen to try and mate the two. A lot of you modders have already achieved this and to you i say well done. I am only to happy to lend an ear if anyone has any technical questions (mechanical).
Thanks,
Gazza

Re: TBCS New Members Introductory Thread
Hi boys and girls. I'm new to the forums but,not to the world of systems or customizing.
Just built my new interim system (which will become a HTPC later). 5 years after my last build....yeah,it was good enough to stand the test of time,it was time for an upgrade. More upgrades and mods for the future are planned.

Re: TBCS New Members Introductory Thread
Hi everyone! I am new to modding and building computers. Me and some friends just started ordering parts to put together a gaming machine and found this forum on modding. Everything I've seen on this site looks great so far, and I look forward to posting a worklog and hearing your feedback.

Re: TBCS New Members Introductory Thread
Hello all!
I'm planning on buying a new case soon and giving it a respray and custom window; nothing fancy really especially seeing as I am a student and on a low budget. Anyway I found TBCS and thought this would be a great place to look for some inspiration! Love the site!
Cheers!

Re: TBCS New Members Introductory Thread
Hi everyone,
I just found this place while searching around the internet for information on unique case designs. I am planning to do some of my own case designs eventually, when I can find the time. I've been a mechanical engineer & machinist for several years, and I have my own business building custom race car simulators.
I'm also trying to hunt down a custom computer builder who I met at nVision a year or two ago, who was from Washington, and showing off his incredible skills. Unforunately, I lost his business card and his email address (he had emailed me once). I just thought I would mention that in case he somehow ran across this post and saw this... if so, please contact me!

If you could please describe some of his mods, someone here will probably know who he is.

Re: TBCS New Members Introductory Thread
Hi everyone.
My name is Bob also known as "BOBDBONE" in the gaming world and "BS Mods" in the modding world.
I will have a few cases to show-and-tell in the near future. However I am exhausted from the 13 hour drive home from the Rods & Mods exhibit in San Francisco so I'll post pics later.
Thank you for the invitation to join your community and I look forward to chatting with you guys.

Re: TBCS New Members Introductory Thread
Forgot to intro myself but I am pretty much now geared up to be a regular so I guess this is good timing. My name is Rich and I am a (n00blet) mawdaholic. I can walk through the halls of the Adult Entertainment Expo (same time as CES in Vegas) and just think about how I would use the stuff there in a mod . . . .sad soul that I am.

Re: TBCS New Members Introductory Thread
hey guys!
after watching my friend build pc after pc, i finally decidied to man up and learn how to build my own! so i did!
my first gaming rig was this one. called it the porta
it was nothing special..had like a radeon 4xxx and a 1.8ghz pentium somethin, with a gb of ram. it was great for me at the time
and then the next computer i has the the Gateway FX gaming laptop p7880u? or something like that. was great, but i just sold it.
before i sold my gaming laptop i bought this case to do my very first mod.
i bought a case just to do my first mod, and put in hardware from a diff computer i had.
the NZXT mid tower case. loved it. with a little work and elbow grease i turned it into this.
i called it the bumble bee!
shortly after i built this pc, the mobo shorted about and was dead.
i used my laptop at my primary computer, but shortly after i decided i didnt
want a laptop anymore, i wanted a nice gaming rig.
while i am waiting for paypal to release the funds to me, i put together a build for about 700 bucks.
let me know what you guys think.
i am still in need of a power supply (if the one i link cant handle it) and a aftermarked heatsink fan. any suggestions would be awesome!!!
the name is nick and i hope to see you all around!

Hey everyone,
New to the site, and I joined because of the airbrush tutorial for flames, but their seems to be a lot of great stuff here! Happy to join up, and hope to learn more, but I still have a lot of work to do to get these damn flames down. If any of you have any advice or know about some other great on-line tutorials that are video, please let me know.
Thanks, and happy to be a part of this site!

Re: TBCS New Members Introductory Thread
I hate introductions so here goes...
I used to build PCs myself, but it's been years, and when I say years, I don't mean just a few, I mean about 10. Technology has advanced enough to make my eye twitch.
Now, thanks to Kayin, I am starting to get back into it. I'm a fairly fast learner, so hopefully it won't take me long to catch up.

Re: TBCS New Members Introductory Thread
You make it sound as though there's a gun to your head. As I remember, you WANT to get better again.
-
Re: TBCS New Members Introductory Thread
I do want to get better again. Sorry if it sounded forced, but as I said, I'm not good at introductions.
Let it be known to all that I do want to learn and that there is no force involved, not a gun to the head or anything else.

Re: TBCS New Members Introductory Thread

Hi, I´m ArgOs from Argentina, I come to show my work and enjoy their work, my English is not very good :whistler: so will see many pictures in my works to be well understood .
the competition "Design Challenge # 5: Espionage" reminded me of a job I did, called 007 and I´m presented here in "your mods".
