The answer:In the dead of winter in the arctic circle, it iis so cold that it is impossible for a cold germ to survive. There was no way for him to get a cold.
The misconception: You get a cold from being in the cold, Completely untrue
lol, it's also untrue that viruses cannot survive in the cold, especially where polar bears are able to live. Flawed riddle!!! Get him!
I have another one, more of a joke, but lets see if you guys understan the joke.
Four guys who worked together all promiced each other that whoever died first they would put $300k in their casket at the funeral.....
A couple of months later, one of the menn dies. The first man puts in $300k straight cash. The second man puts in $300k worth of gold. The third man writes out a check for $900k, and puts it in, and takes the cash and gold as his change.
Assuming that cold germs can not survive in a deep freeze, colds have an incubation period so he would have had to catch it before he was at the south pole. Then there is enough warmth in the Sinus passages to incubate anything...
OH and thank the Jew's/Nazi's for the revelation that being cold does not give you a cold. There were extensive experiments where Jew's were submersed in freezing water to see what the effect was. Not one of them caught a cold. Several however lost limbs due to frostbite (that is not the medical term). Saw a show on the medical experiments that the Nazi's did on TLC...
Back to your riddles...
eesh, tough history for a riddle thread, however true it is.
There was no mention of a deep freeze, if mammals like people and bears can tolerate the environment you can be damned sure a virus can.Quote:

The reason it was the only thing overlooked is because it was the only plausible statement in the story! You have mid-oceanic sharks and tides, antartic polar bears, a broken legged guy fighting tigers in African "pits" what ever the hell those are...so lol, go stand in the corner and think about what you did.Quote:
Of all the things in the riddle , the only detail you overlook was the fact that he got a cold. So ha, i win!
I'm just givin you grief, we have fun :)
LOL, I like the joke. Heaven doesn't take checks, but hell takes VISA.
