Wow. Just... wow... I don't want to buy a game that looks blurry as hell, but if you can just change the executable... curious.
Oh well, we'll see how it is on Wednesday when I pick up my copy.
EDIT: As in next Wednesday, not today.

Oh yeah, I found out why stuff was being drawn in when I get 50ft away from it on my PC: The objects setting is on low and it won't let me change it. Is there a way to get around that?
interesting, when did you look at the settings, while in a game? for me one of them won't change when your playing a game.
I would know if what those pics show is true, I haven't played Crysis yet. I just thought it was interesting that Nvidia would potentially damage a game that good be quite good for them.
Yeah, with Objects on high everything else pretty much has to be on low. I need a new CPU. Stupid Pentium D, lol.
least you don't have a Celeron!!!! it will be interesting to see how much i can up the settings, if at all with a new 8600GT superclocked 256mb.
I really dont believe that article. It looks more like motion blur to me in the first pic. It seems they are jumping or something to get them up off of the ground. You can see in the second pic the angle is different. As for running slower, I wouldnt make an conclusions until the actual game comes out.
good find though.

EDIT- I took my own screen shots.
First image, look familiar. I took it while standing still in front of the dock.
Second shot I took while moving the mouse slowly. ??? Yeah its just motion blur
FYI, the second shot I did get about 1-2 fps more. I am not writing this to attack anyone or to discredit, I just want people to get more then one side of a story.
w00t!!!!!!!!! i got my EVGA 8600GT 256mb Superclocked and i can now run crysis all on medium!
