My name is Luciel, 24, half spanish half irish. I´m a systems administrator but began working in a custom computers shop which is where I learnt to paint, since then, whenever free time allows it, I´ve been hooked on modding and I´m always trying new things and wanting to learn new techniques : )

Howdy all!
I just joined because I am about to build a new pc, parts should arrive middle of next week. The case I ordered, Cooler master HAF 922, doesnt have a side window and I think I want to put one in. I was searching for case mods on the 922 and remembered seeing an Alien and a Doom3 mod years ago and searching for those brought me back here.
I started building my own PC's 14 or 15 years ago but never did any mods to them. Like I said I want to put in a side window on the case im getting but it might be a while before I do since my tower is in a cubby on the side of my desk and not out on display. I guess well see what happens.

This comes to you from The West Of England not far from The Ancient Port of Bristol. I am a 74 year old chap who doesn't know quite as much as I should about anything!
Can anybody please tell me if I can paint a polycarbonate surface with plastic enamel paint without it doing harm to the polycarbonate.

I've been working with computers since the mid 80s.
Someone told me about this forum, So i decided to join up.
Liking it so far :)
First post here. Lurked a few times and decided to register.
My first project will probably over this Christmas break. I'm thinking that I will build a garage/shop PC with whatever I have around. I know I have an old DFI lanparty mobo and an AMD FX55 cpu that I'm thinking I might use. If not I have something else if you guys think I could use the lanparty mobo and fx55 for something better than a shop pc that wont get used a lot. Anyway, this place is great.

Joined TBCS because I'm just interested in modding (planning on modding soon :crossed:). I mean for a 15 year old, it's gotta be a challenge, and since I like challenges :D I thought I'd start by joining TBCS. :)
Through the miracle of stumbling across this place through googling something or other...here I am.
Some here may even recognize my user name from the distant past. Former modding forum staffer, veteran modder, even partnered in a modding supplies store back in the day.
It's great to see such a thriving modding forum even if the bar has been raised to such an amazing height. Great projects here! I look forward to learning as well as contributing what I can with my old school ways.
Yes, I do have a project as well and am posting on the air-cooled version of such. It's a compact i7 gaming rig housed in a Lian-Li PC-V354 case that I plan to watercool using very few oversized fans. Looking forward to the feedback and tips once I can start in earnest. :D

Hello all!
After an extensive read of a fellow Canadian, J-Roc's Citrus G5 mod project log, I was inspired to see if I can do something similar. I have been lurking and finally decided its time to register, hopefully mod my version of the G5 and post it here. Have learned a lot from many of the amazing modders here on TBCS and every time I come back, its something new to see and learn! Good to be here.
i'm just curious if there is a way to post pictures of my cases on your site? a very interesting site i might add.
I met Paul Capello and the Doom 3 casemod at Maker Faire a few years back. Too awesome. I've been a model builder for a long time, and have been building PCs since high school. Currently working on my own casemod and hopefully will be able to enter it in some competitions. Enjoying the site already, and looking forward to adding more of my mods as time, money and victims permit.
Hey everyone, I'm Jon. I've been building PCs for a long time but am new to modding. For my first project, I've decided to do a mineral oil submerged PC with a monster lab theme. I've started a blog to document it all here. Hopefully it turns out well! I'm completely blown away by some of the mods I've seen on this site and it inspires me on a deep level to do something really cool.
