Wanted: Socket 478 P4 processor 2-3ghz

heh, ebay would probably your best bet there, i only have one lol

dont trust e-bay as much as I used to, though it'd probably get alot.

Found some good ones on newegg though.

Socket 478 Pentium 4 Processors

I would go for the open box 3Ghz. If you need a heatsink, Newegg has half a billion in all different shapes and sizes.

Its not that I can't deal with NewEgg. I have ordered a few things from them. I just figured I'd check around here to see if anyone had some laying around and wanted to make some moola.

You're probably gunna wanna look into another heatsink with that 3GHz 478.

It's unfortunate that you'd have to replace pretty much everything to upgrade to 775 :o\

Yea I'm kinda trying to upgrade a little. I figure the next time I decide to upgrade I'll change out the mobo and stuff. I just can't swing a total rebuild right now. I ended up with a 2.6ghz processor which will get me almost to the limit on this mobo. I'll be happy with that for now.
I do intend on getting something better to cool the cpu with.
