Re: Will this setup work?
ya i don't know why they do that, so if you have the room i would just grab the 320 and it leaves room for either more stuff in the loop or quieters fans, the ones i put in that list where 88FM high speed 40DB fans.
the setup i plan to buy will have 6 of those fans on a fan controller so when i am gaming or bench marking i can put it at full speed for best results. also the push and pull setup helps more too.
Re: Will this setup work?
I would like the 320 but im not sure i have space, because i have the lexa blackline and would like to place the rad in the same spot as the one in the mod "project lexa" http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/f...t=9478&page=34
so im pretty sure I dont have the room
Re: Will this setup work?
Yep that's my mod lol. You can fit a 240mm radiator on the bottom and maybe top of the case but you need new rear feet. I also have a 120mm radiator mounted on my rear 120mm exhaust fan.
I also have a 80mm radiator which I was thinking of sticking on the top 80mm exhaust fan but I don't think my pump will be able to handle it.
Re: Will this setup work?
what do you mean about new rear case feet?
Re: Will this setup work?
i think he means that the triple rad would be to long and you would have to extend the 2 pack "feet"
Re: Will this setup work?
Re: Will this setup work?
Even a 240mm is too big unless you want the tubing to come up into the HDD bays. I will find you a pic from my worklog.
Re: Will this setup work?
Have a look at this pic:
The way the rear feet curve inwards makes it impossible to mount a 240mm radiator on the underside of the case without modifying or removing the existing rear feet. Even if you push the radiator as far towards the rear feet as you can the inlet and outlet of the radiator will come through under the HDD bays.
Re: Will this setup work?
yea and thats not going to work because I would have to drill through the HDD Bay itself, and with the two HDD's in it Im not sure it would be worth it
Re: Will this setup work?
You could make new rear feet. Or modify and re-enforce the original. It's not really that hard to overcome. I just thought I would make some feet to match my mod.
