Is that a 'I wish he went into more detail' pause, a 'ok, but that just raises more questions' pause, or a 'that didn't exactly answer my question but it gave me an easier route' pause, or something else entirely? :P
LOL - it raises a whole lot of questions heh - but it's as good as it gets unfortunately, without more info - I can't just say "Use this resistor" and hope the LEDs and power source happen to agree with my calculations :p
There is always this... http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/f...read.php?t=642 ... but it might be a bit daunting...
Haha. You didn't! One site said that a 1kohm resistor is commonly used with led's when using a 12v PSU.
On the brighter side!!! I got my PSU today!!! Pics of itself and the power supply mounted. I haven't fired it up yet but i hope to after Math 101 tonight.
Not much goin' on today, work almost all day then birthday dinner for me later! Woo!
Mobo, fans, drives will be put on order soon.
happy Bday.
Good choice on the case.
Thanks!!!
looking good so far
about the 1k ohm resistor, 1k ohm is the lowest you generally want to go because anything less than that you have to worry about the tolerances making a (potentially huge) difference... however without more info who knows what you need really
