Thanks qoou. I appreciate the compliment. I'm still struggling a little with ideas on keeping the tubing well organized, once I get more done it will be easier to tell.
As for current progress, I am kinda in a holding pattern cause I'm waiting for the frame to get back from being polished and a few bits and pieces in the mail (lightbus, and misc. screws)
I have been trying to work out the wiring though. I'm looking for chrome tubing around 1/4" o.d. to bend and use as wire chases that will run behind the mobo tray, also.. does anyone know what the challenges to shortening or lengthning the power cables from the PSU. For my plan I will need to be able to cut most of them shorter.
anyway.. here's a pic of my wiring diagram so far.
Next steps are going to be the design for the exterior panel on the Mobo side and cutting the window panel to have a bigger window.
I got to thinking about the tubing. I'm gonna try red uv PCice coolant first to see if it gives me a red enough look, if not, maybe there is a way the stain the tubes to look red.... no judging for brainstorming.
as far as a name.. I'm not sure if Xtasy will still fit after more is done, I was thinking Oblivion, or MetropolisR.E.D. now I just need to come up with something appropriate for the R.E.D. acronym so I don't look silly if someone asks.:)

;) just checked this from school. MetropolisR.E.D. has to be the mods title, im gonna work it into the design somehow... I just got a dremel today so I'll experiment with it tonight. Thinking R.E.D. should stand for Real.Energy.Drawn sort of a play on the amount of effort it takes to plan, obtain the parts and execute this and all the other mods I have seen.;)

OK... sorry it took so long to post an update, I have been busy at work. So I got the dremel and wanted to test it out. I drew up a cool logo for the mod..taped the original to a scrap piece of metal and started hacking away. Needless to say it was a disaster:mad: , but I learned a few things.
Then I got started on the window for the mobo side of the PC. There will be wiring conduit and other items visible through the window, not to mention the back of the mobo tray.

light testing. The bottom window will have the name of the mod painted onto the back of the plexi i think...probably in black.. Im up for suggestions there.
I still need to cut the other window out bigger...I needed a break from the dremel. Screws on the other side will be the same, but I need more washers..
Once the frame gets back I should be able to start assembly and work out the rest of the wire management.
I'm thinking that I might want to send out the logo to be lasercut, like a plaque that I will screw to the window, anyone know where I might be able to get something like that done, thanks.. Have a good night.
