Well I got an old sever thats dual 933mhz cpus.. it still runs smokeing fast to my current computers that makes me wonder.. its more the board and dual cpus are alot faster.. but depends on what your doing if its worth it or not.. but for day to day stuff its fast.. just get a i7 or if you want 2 cpus look at 2 q9550 or q9650 with the skull trail motherboard.. the i7 is better in some ways then the skull trail wins in others..

to save power because severs can eat up alot of power and genrate a ton of heat.. sever stuff is always more stable but the cost is alot higher for it.. It all comes down to what you want to use the computer for.. sometimes its not worth it for games and stuff like that.. but if you doing video editing it might be better on a sever..
