talking of wire management, how do you do the PSU wiring? mines a state, i just rammed it all in a spare 3.25 bay with the inverter for my cathode
The paint is flouresscent green safety paint. And i should have used an etching primer and some clear coat. It still looks good bit chips easily.
The slot blower is from antec and blows air into the case unlike most slot blowers i've seen.
As for my wiring.... Its a mess right now. I bought some heatshrink tubing to cover the wires. I needed a molex pin remover so while i ordered that i also bought a uv red wiring kit (for another case im doing). I dont know yet if im going to use the same psu in the other computer. Im going to use the black heatshink on it first and see how i like it.
[edit]
Here is a pic of a test section i did. That was the only connector i could get off without the molex remover.
The blue tape at each end is some hockey tape i found at the dollar store
Re: good case for first REAL mod?
wicked...
i guess the wires will have to wait untill i have a psu that is worth spending time doing that on...its a 300w packard bell unit at the mo, but it does have a 12cm fan in the bottom which is real quiet and im getting good airflow.
i diddent know they made blowers that suck air into the case...odd, mine takes it out
Re: good case for first REAL mod?
2 packs of heatshrink = $10
Molex tool = $8
hockey tape = $1
Not bad for less than $20
Ill post full pics when my tool arives

basicly its gonna have to be an ebay job for the mod parts...i should have about £100 GBP to spend...
that seems amazingly cheap...ill go check maplin for some heatshrink, my tech teacher told me it was majorly expensive tho...that being the reason why it haddent occured to me before. shall have to research this

There's only a handful of guys from the UK on here so don't worry if no-one gets that joke.
Don't trust tech teachers! Mine once told me he was shot out a submarine's torpedo tube.
