Vegetable oil becomes rancid and it's pH changes. TH didn't do a great job. Mineral oil is a better cheap alternative and has less possibility of breaking down the sealant or turning rancid.
If you are interested in an oil-based pc, I have a few good links about it. I think it's interesting and if I get a few dozen hours to burn sometime I have a spare pc and a fishtank.
Not for me thanks.. imagine the mess if it spilled/leaked/got broken, etc.
I'll stick to aircooled for now, and watercooled once I start building the new machine.

IMHO, not a good idea, but YMMV. I love acronyms.
damn i want a baby oil cooled psu. they look so cool. i might try it on an old psu, or use my backup psu. dont want to destroy my £20 psu :P
that watercooled psu is damn expensive. $250. wtf?!?! it should be less than a normal psu, cos its not got a fan.
