Looks good. :D
wouldnt you have to be very carefull not to get your fingers caught in those unguarded fans?
They have a guard over them... the mesh grill goes over the top i think.
actually, now that i look at it, they appear to be on the inside of the case...is that right?
This is them here...

and you can see them right in the back corner of the case here....

Never thought I'd say this about a HP case, but it looks GREAT.....
Very nice work with the paint job.
Just how do you get it looking so good?
Keep up the good modding.
Hey im new to modding n i was woundering wat sort of paint u used and is it hard to put the insides back together thanks
Those fans are mounted in the sides guys, when thecase was first built it had Dual 80mm side mounted rads for the wtercooling. The fans drew fresh air in form the side.
The idea was not to hack the front up for a blow hole and keep the case totally original looking, i think the side mounted fan and grill idea achieves this.

Putting the insides in is not hard at all :)
I took a few more shots for a local magazine with HPr2, the first shots show some added extras wich ive fully removed and gone back to a more standard looking case.
A custom top devider was cut from green plex, 2 layers were used, the top one sanded to difuse the light and give a frosted more even effect.
A rear Fan guard was cut from old monitor mesh, bent ad edged it "clips" over the rear fans and will fingys from being hurt.
Some custom plex flames were also cut from 3mm clear plex, using a template and a jigsaw, again sanded to a frosted finish. with the right lighting these should light up well.
Playing with lights.
A green LED is added to light up the Custom VGA bracket and make it more of a feature.
With the side window.
