Plasma tubes or exposed filament bulbs maybe

Although the EMF on the last would be problematic.
Some of the florescent lights backstage in the auditorium have a similar effect. I don't think they're meant to do that, though.
I think the exposed filament neon looks better.
I have a blue lightning tubes it is preddy boring, and in the long run unreliable.
i agree with acey i dont know whats coming except gold... (as in good stuff)
EDIT: 400th post
It's obvious.
It's a time machine.
oh sh*t your right dude.... dam that was simple
Heh, plan for something like that for next mod, except it wont be so lighted and advanced. Saw a .gif image on one of BT's posters which no doubt makes any of us go "ooo i wanna do that i wanna do that next"
An afterlife phone? with all those dials?
Filimon... we are waiting for moooooooore
Man another good woodwork from Russia. Why are they always so good in workin with wood?
AAaahh, I get it- the trick to getting comments on your project is to not say anything at all, and be mysterious! lol
Excellent so far, whatever it is
vision
wood and russia just get along ok...
nice works dude
Looking fantastic Filimon, just like your last.
Love it.... tube op amp or preamp?? I know I know I have to wait until its done to see what it is.
what ever it is it looks so nice, words can't describe it,
It looks like it might be res holders for another system maybe?
wow, this is the coolest thing i've seen in awhile. can't wait to see the finished product.
Mate truly fantastic. Did by any chance you make a steampunk USB memory stick??? Because if you did I am pretty sure you featured in an Australian PC gaming and tech magazine. I will post some pics after school.
quick question, where did you get all your materials? or did you make them? and if you did make them, with what tool and material? still blown away by the creativity!
Have a look at his previous mod (the name eludes me at this point in time). He did a short tutorial in there. Check his public profile (click his name on the post) for a look at the project.
cool.. dark on the back, gold-ish on the front. btw, is this called victorian-themed or what? steampunk?
i wanna know already!!! lol
Yeah this is steampunk.
Feel like doing a steampunk mod for a friend's laptop since its badly scratched. But don't really fancy taking the risk since I know nuts bout laptops and its not mine either.
The project Claudia Unit is stopped because I’m not satisfied with its quality .I’ve decided to start the same project from the very outset. I would also like to use modern technologies in it.
You are my hero!! Absolutely amazing mod by an absolute craftsman!Quote:

Has anyone figured out what this thing is yet?
I think its from the "Last Exile". I'm not entirely sure though. But it is a pretty Steampunk-ish show and its the only time I've ever heard of a Claudia. Its an element in the show that's used as both currency and fuel to generate lift for their flying-machines. The equipment or engine components themselves are called "Claudia Units" I believe.
<3 Last Exile, one of my favorite shows and one I just finished for the fourth time two weeks ago. ^_^
I could be completely and totally wrong though. This project could be from something totally different that also uses "Claudia Units". I'm not sure if the show Last Exile is an original idea or not, it could be based off of something.
Glad to see Filimon back though! The guy is a modding genius!
:o
He has said previously that his inspiration is from sources like Last Exile.
Really awesome work as always, a real craftsman.
good to see you back at it. love your work here, and just dying to see it completed.
Damn that looks cool.
 picks jaw up from floor.... WOW!
/\ agree with the above 2 statements.
Cat gets embedded too or he modded one by himself?
OT
It's far guess but - is it for water cooling?
Man tharts very cool like the way this is going
