Man the panel looks fantastic. Keep it up.
guess what, i made a bending brake lol
i shall call this, ghetto wet-shirt-air-filter-thingy
but yeah, needed some cutouts for the hinges
cutted and marked the holes
yeh, ghetto wet-shirt-air-filter-thingy, didnt worked that well, so i made a even more ghetto mod, old dryer hose house connnectionthingy reused
works :D
so, hours later i was done
and my first test bend (didnt payed attention for the angle)
after the first test i covered the brake in paint to prevent rusting
yall like?
awesome idea!
Nice break mate, I just use my bench vice lol but I'm not bending anything as big as that panel.
That's a great idea. +rep
sweet, thats the same case that I'm using now, always wondered what a modded one would look like. I gotta practice on my old one before I rip into mine :) looks awesome so far!
Xcartguy
edit: I guess I got the 1200, awesome idea for the resivours(yea I can't spell)
BTW, what kind of aluminum is that? like what guage? Looks kinda thick when you drilled those holes. And what did you cut with to make those lines so... perfect? Dremel metal thin cut disks? Sorry for all the questions, so new to his stuff :)
nice break... when i get around to it im gunna make one too... lol
thanks for the front page :)
today i made the step which was most afraid of, bending the cover:
while bending
damn straight :o
aaaaaaaaaand done, whew
and painted the inside flat black

i finally found a somewhat fitting design for the pump, so here is a alpha design: (dont mind the water exchange, ill change it to something less cheesy and wrong)
and just because i can, i designed a dual external hdd/usb hub case (also alpha designs)
yay!
awesome!
Looks great man. I can't wait to see it once it's made.
Great job on that cover! +rep
looks killer... nice work man
I'll tell you, I wouldn't've had the balls to bend the cover after I'd done all that work... would've done it before, and it wouldn't look half as nice! Great job! +rep
/\ sh*t yeah i didnt even think about that....
+rep for having balls.... (sounds so sus)
you guys have absolutely NO idea how afraid i was while bending the cover, anyways, update
started cleaning up the closet where my dad started, and i continue storing paint in all varieties:
~7 years old rim cleaner
and back in (made a whole shelf of space)
started making the front
cutted
suddenly, TWO of em :o
thats all
I was wondering how you were gonna do that front pillar thing. Can't wait to see the rest :) oh yea, +rep for having balls! I am too afraid to mess with my 1200 yet. I hate doing things that if I mess up, I won't be able to go back to the original design.
