Er, sorry.
Say, don't forget the adjacent sign with the bare-minimum "shop rules". Gotta have these clearly posted:
(Based on this [which contains naughty words], of course.)
Man, I wish our weather would permit something like this.
Also: +rep to Cymae for an adorable (and reusable) post-image-thing.
@SgtM hopefully i wont exceed the bandwith lol, iworked on it and around it thursday night till about 12:00 PM worked on it friday from 10:00 am till 11.30pm and saturaday worked at the house with the wife painting some in house and my new doors

@ Cymae my wife took some kitten pics just for you lol no kidding
Ok here goes the update
I bought this insulation the other night got one sheet just to try it out
it is 1 inch thick and has a foil backing thought it might be better than the blue stuff here is some pics of the process how i did it any way
Tools of choice
that knife was my wifes brainstorm from hobby lobby it is made to cut floral stroyfoam it worked awesome
The foil side i think will help a lot
It pretty much cuts like drywall hence the T square
where it was cut
popping it like drywall
That knife cuts a pretty good line
This is installed in case you cant tell the is a cove insice the walls i bent it into was tough but think it sealed fairley well
Ok all i said i was gonna ask for an opinion or two this one way i was going to give myself somthing to attach plywood or pegboard or what ever i use.
For a wall i have some screws ordered from McFeely’s to help with attaching btw Square drive screws are awesome .
second way would be easier to put the the insulation in
Way 1 way two you guys are inspiring me to push onand really appreciate the help comments opionins and questions welcome
I also started the doors this weekend lol people love the hat i which i do to.
My doctor gave me some meds that make me sunburn very bad i know im lookin rough but i worked till midnight or 1:00 the night before got up at 7;00am.
Then worked from 10:00 am till midnight btw thanks very much to my father in law for the use of the shop and the roast lol . If you get sick easily ugly man pics ahead lol.
here i am citting the 2x4's for the frames
Laying it out
measuring themn for the 100th time lol
I used a kreg pocket hole jig to put them together these ROCK !
No glue required strong as can be , Although you cant drill into the end grain and can be taken apart if need be
the setup
Drilling the pocked holes
routering the dado to put the sideing insert in wish i had thought to get a pic of the groove
Siding cut to size
Or so i thought lol
Done
Rinse repeat
Also thanks to my father in law who came on sunday i usually dont do things like this on sunday but , we really wanted to get them hung and pretty much mounted and he stayed till 8:30 pm helping and got a diet coke and hotdogs for his trouble thanks again man .
They are not perfect the space in the middle is on purpose i will explain when i work on it agian if nothing happens, you all saw what i had to work with nothing in that whole thing is perfect i may change them some or do a little changing here and there but im pretty pleased.
I do work in a cabinet shop but dont know anything about carpentry but i guess that is obvious comments, suggestions ,constructive criticism welcome . hope you enjoyed the update

Extreme q vaporizer
hope to have an update ina few days if nothing happens
ah well, free +rep :P *reps Liquid*
Awesome job. This mod is really looking great.
I can't believe how far it has came.
And btw, I noticed about 15 PSU's in one pic, I know you don't need all those and you are feeling generous :)
I might be...
AT PSUs haven't really been used for 20 years.
So what.
Many things haven't been used for twenty years, does that mean they are no good?!
What about the commodore 64?
I wasn't saying that it wasn't any good... I wouldn't want it if it wasn't any good. Is it a two plug, or single plug AT PSU?
I was just kidding
@ phenom i hope to do a small update this weekend if nothing happens thanks for looking and posting all
I have done some work this weekend hope to update worklog tommorrow need to take some pics in daytime thanks again all
here there is a recess i needed to work on to insulate some anyway
here i have cut some of the blue scrap insulation i had to fill in the voids
And here i used the foil duct tape to hopefully help some
here is what i put to help with the wood i used for a backer to fix metal on outside
there is the particle board i used to make the outside wall i didnt get any work pics because i was pressed to finish before dark
here you can see the paint messed up on the doors i painted to late in the day i will try to fix that soon if nothing happens
here is the wall i guess i can call it a building now i stll have loads of work this is basically just the decking iwll hopefully put some kind of siding or something if nothing happens
Ok. 13, going on 14 years. Close enough. I guess my dell was one of the first to come with an atx PSU.
A small update
this is the 1x6 i added to the edge of the door on the right so the left door that will be opened more will have something to rest against .
Here it is attached to the door sorry for poor pics batteries were almost dead got what pictures i could .
Then i added a 2x2 that i had to hand plane down because nothing in the building is square really but had no way to take pictures of the process
These are the screws i used they are square drive from McFEELY’S they are the best screws i have ever used i hope to stay away from philips if at all possible .
Finished or close have somethings to work on but getting closer to what i want .
I know this is a very bad picture but i couldnt get it right there is a gap there aas you can see or i hope you can . that i couldnt get a lot closer. Because of how that part of building is made so with the help of the wife we put this backer rod in there .
Then she had what i thought was a great idea i was going to put aa board over all that then she came up with puttingthe scrap insulation i had left over .
On top of backer rod and caulk and then i will but a board over that should help with stoppin the breeze and cold .
Then i caulked all around the decking and other places but thats not exzactly interesting hope to have a better update soon if nothing happens .
header is done
Hey thanks man that is awesome i really appreciate it +rep for you sir.
Lookin' good!! +rep
On the screws, I agree Phillips screws are awful. Square drive are great but I've found a brand here at my local Ace hardware that are Torx drive. They've got a drill point, nibs under the head to help countersink, and even little teeth between the threads. They are awesome. If you've got a bit long enough and a drill strong enough you can use a long one to screw two 2x4 boards together and the screw will actually pull itself completely through the first 2x4 and leave a hole the size of the screw head all the way through it. They're pricey but worth every penny.

Hey thanks for the coments and the rep i hope to have another update pretty soon if nothing happens just havent had the chance to really work on it much latley thanks again i will have to look into those screws.
are they anuthing like this http://www.mcfeelys.com/spax
Kind of like that, but the little teeth actually run between the threads the whole length of the screw.

cool thanks ,will have to look into those
I have a question for the construction minded of you guys as you can see im not much of a carpenter lol .
Im jsut doing the best i can with what i have i have a couple of questions for you all
1 .
ok on the inside where i put that white insulation it has foil on the other side .
Do you all think i should but a vapor barrier like 6MIL Plastic Sheet on top of the insulation and then put my wall covering up.
Which will probably be 7/16 osb or just put the osb on top of insulation .
2. Should o run my wall braces vertical or horizontal
im leaning vertical im not planning on pputting a lot of weight on the walls but will store some thing if nothing happens i will try to play fallout 3 while i await a reply lol thanks in advance
I would vote with the vertical option also and as far as the vapro barrier I would do it especially if you are going to have any type of electrical out there. as a bonus if there is a hole somewhere and water does manage to get it it will keep it contained and away from the electrical. I may be wrong but all that is how I would do it.
Good point man about the electrical and thanks for the vertical vote .
Glad too see you around i havent been on as much through the week as usual .
I dont know about you but im about ready to start the heaters just waiting on the gas man to come sometime lol .
BerticusPryme you know about the humidty around here better than anyone
I may run the electrical through conduit but , i want to keep the moisture and water down to as little as posssible so im gonna go with the vapor barrier.
Between the foil on the other side and the palstic on the inside should do pretty well . The doors have helped a lot . Hows your mods coming ?
Thanks again
