Got to say, dump up the voltage by 0.125 and increase the multiplier to 20 and done - took a minute or two at most. Feel a bit like I'm cheating compared to some of the other guys.

i got my 720 be up to 3.93 but i couldnt get it stable. vcore was 1.6
Check to see if your PLL voltage is high enough.
With my 720, I left RAM at stock and increased multi for 20x200=4GHz.
What board is it?
i have the ga-890fxa-udp5. i tired everything i could think of and it wouldn't budge i would get to windows for a sec then bsodQuote:

Leave it all as it is.
Download AMD Overdrive, and you should be able to adjust it over 4 in windows. Works for me.

I was able to reach my 4.1ghz stable run on my GA-890FXA-UD5 and Phenom II X4 965 Black edition with just a multiplier bump and a slight vcore bump.
I think it's about time we start a 5Ghz club :)

First real attempt under water. Stable in SuperPi using 1M, and HT is on with no changes to voltage or anything other then Multiplier and Bus Speed.
EDIT: Stable all the way to 32M in SuperPi
i finally did it. with my new quad core 955. she can do 4.0 at stock voltage. will try for max later on tonight. :twisted:

The reason it is saying 3.9 GHz is the info center is assuming default FSB. It's set at 210, and the default is 200.
19.5*210=4095.
19.5*200=3900.
It's a stable OC for sure; I tried upping both the FSB and multiplier past this; it crashed on boot-up.
I'm using Minecraft to show how stable it is.
Stock voltages. Not sure what defaults are. Do NOT want to fry brand spankin' new stuff.
