Haha...Your bike is iBadass. Good to see the project coming along. I hope you can swing a short photo-tutorial on the rusting paint--many people have asked about those techniques.

You Sir, are mad.
I salute you with good +reppiness for your illness. Hope it helps.
:edit: or I would, I'm out of reppiness. :(
So +kudos instead.
Today I attacked the Dell and the iCute motherboard tray with an angle grinder and file.
The MoBo tray is now riveted into the case. I also cut out the front of the Dell, as the drive bays are going on the opposite side to what I first put up.
I still need to file the Dell some more and make up a bracket to hold the PSU.
Anyway, here is some pics of the MoBo tray in place.
The back of it:
And a couple of different views showing the other side:
It fitted in rather nicely I think.
I know I haven't done much on this mod lately, but that will be changing very soon.
I have been trying to work out the best way to join the drive bays to the main part of the case. That is now sorted!
Dad is coming up tomorrow to drop off the latest car I've acquired (1971 Hillman Hunter GT if you are wondering) and he said I can borrow his MIG Welder for a few months!
He is also bringing his Scroll Saw for me to use on a permanent loan.
So with a MIG, I know I'll be able to attach parts to the Ratputer well. :p
Haha...just saw your bike man, sweet. :D
The mod is taking shape. Looking forward to some real destruction in the name of creation.

I decided to crack out the welder and put the drive bays on the side of the main case.
Those who have been following this thread wil notice I have put the drive bays on a different side to what I originally planned.
Once it was in place I cut some slots in the excess sticking out:
After the slots were cut, I folded the top and bottom of the case I used for the drive bays and welded them too.
Here's how the case will stand now:
The original Ratputer front I made will go on like this and I'll trim down the other panel to suit to sit below it:
I've done some grinding too, but there is still more to go.
Oh man I wanna learn how to weld! Keep hackin' away brother!
Hells Yea. Looks Great! It's the First time Ive seen it.
The Blending job on the front panel looks great.
I like how your using a bunch of different cases to make one.
You going to have room for all kinds of stuff in there.
HELL YEAH !!! \m/
those weld look AWESOME be sure to live them this way
I have to say..i just tuned in but those side facing front panels...well, I WANT!
Nice idea dude, i hope it comes together
This project is a very creative idea. You have alot of talent. You can count on me to be tuning in to see how this goes! Remember crazy can lead to genius. lol
Thanks! Funny you should bump this thread, I was just mucking around with this case not 15 minutes ago.
I've been thinking about doing more welding and adding this to the base of it:
It would give me plenty of space to have two power supplies and the water cooling stuff. I'm still toying with the idea and probably won't do too much until the Mini-Rat PC is finished.
You may need a truck to move it... :D
Seem to go well, I like the rusty effect
With it stacked like that it is about 28" (700mm) tall!
this case is lookin sweeet!
+rep cause u have a skull ;)
wat type is ur moto (it looks like the bikes they drove in WW2)?
i drive a moped and it isn't NEARLY as powerful as a moto :(
I replied with my bikes in the tread you started in The Chatterbox.
For those who are wondering why no real updates, this worklog is kinda on hold at the moment in case you hadn't figured.
I have some ideas still which I'm not sure how it will turn out, so I'll build a couple more cases to practice and then get back to it.
Great idea dude the possibilities are endless, that's if this mod doesn't keep growing and take over your house. :p
