Got one comment, You need to make a Carbon fiber surround for your LCD!

And Please tell us it has a Red backlight :)

Don't worry, It is red. -at least its supposed to be, I haven't plugged it in yet, so I don't even know if it works. I'll do that tonight.

And yes, I have some plans for a surround around the lcd. Its silver bezel will be painted with the same red anodizing paint that I've been using, but you won't see much of it. :)

I checked out the lcd display, and yes it is red. I need to come up with some custom logo or text though.

Do you have a link to where you got that LCD from. I am interested in picking on up for a future mod. Looks great BTW.

if you want to save a few bucks you can order them direct from Matrix Orbital

If you don't need the bay plate you can save more (look for the part numbers that end in USB for USB LCD all others are serial Rs232)
