This is so damn funny I took it out of context and made it part of my sig.

HA HA HA! That is funny! You know I'm just trying to give a fellow modder some friendly nipple piercing advice!
Of course. :D Nothing like a bit of body moddin'!

haha thanks for the adivce yea mosh pits im like heaps scared even for my ear pericing lol. rofl that is pretty funny when you rease the frist part lol but thanks any way.
im not really sure about nipple now i reaken it might get tered out and my frenids said if i got it done he would pull it out :|. and another person at school said they had it done and it was worth it (theres got torn out) so i dunno. i really wanna get a new pericing just not sure what am getting my lip done when i get my braces off.
ok ok sorry for getting so off topic.
Seriously,... how do you get your nipple rings torn out? I'd like to know because I'm clueless as to how it's done. I mean,... I have both mine done and I have had them for awhile now and never came close to tearing one out. It not like I pay any mind to protect them either. I do whatever whenever without taking them into consideration. I have no problem sleeping with them(I toss and turn a lot). I wrestle with my best friend all the time and not once has it come close to being torn out. I mean I have had them brushed and a tiny lil snag here and there but thats about it. The worse I suffer is when one of them gets infected. Apparently my best friend cant keep her hands off of them. She likes to tweak em and of course I let her like an idiot. It feels good, cant help it. LOL. Anyways. Just get them done and respect them,... thats all. You know if you get your lip done and you get in fight,... it will cut up your gums real bad and and maybe damage your teeth.
hmm ive just herad lots of storys of nipple bars/rings being ripped out i know some guy did it with his sheet while sleeping, and lots of lost them in moshes, guess someone else must pull it really hard lol owwie. yea i know but i dont get in fights, well try not to im a pretty bad fighter so i run lol, im good at escaping you knowhad a lot of pratice *cough*sucirtygaurds*cough* :P. i might get them done still sorta deiceding now.
Great story about a nipple piercing :D
Yesterday i was at a party with my sister, it was very hot, and some guy's wernt wearing a shirt. So 1 of them had a piercing, and my sister was joking at him like "what if i pull it?" and he was just smiling like he heard that a thousand times.
But i had my Leatherman with me, opened it and gave it to my sister. (anyone seen tjhe movie "the punisher"?) She stepped to that guy, pointing the leatherman right to his nipple. You should see the face of that guy when he saw that tool :D Almost ****ting his pants. Would you ever expect a girl with a tool trying to rip out your piercing on a party? :D
What a wuss,... I wouldnt have been scared because I know she wouldnt do it. I would be more scared of getting into a fight with another dude and having them ripped out from rolling around with them. Oh wait,... I was in a fight with a dude, rolling around and s@#$. Their still in too:) Didnt even come close to being torn out either. This was a big dude too. I'm only 5' 7 @ 150. He was 6'2 @ at 180lbs. It happened at work. He was a psych patient trying to escape. I F#$%ed that dude up! I didnt stike him at all,... just wrestled him down. Oh my god I was like a machine,... I snapped and took him down like nothing anyone has ever seen in that hospital. I had him locked on the floor. Couldnt move or get out. Security finally took over when they finally got there. I was banged up from hitting the floor with him and being on my knees but that was about it. Nipples were fine.
Oooo, the classic psych ward "take down"! Haha! I had a patient grab my tie on the geriatric psych ward and try to have a go at me, world war II vet with PTSD. Man it's amazing how strong those old dudes are too, even though they look docile.
Hey guyz. Just a small update. Sorry, but I have been spending much time in the studio the last several days. Been working at the hospital. I'm trying to atleast get my bills caught up. I'll be doing some more doubles at the hospital this week. Probably during a weekday and on friday. This way I can spend all day and night in the studio on saturday and monday. Anyways,... check it out.

Was just playing around here,... been trying to design some kind of logo for myself. This one came to mind. I think it's cool because you can easily see the "T" and the "O" is the shielding around it. Its basicallt a sphere in teh center where the outer sphere is sectioned apart in the shape of a "T". what you think? I have to show you how I cut that circle of acrylic out too. I'll do that later though.
Ok. Pump tower. This is pretty much it. Nothing big when it comes to designs. I didnt want to over do it like I did the last time. It will be polished out so it will do a lot of reflecting of other design work. So you will see green on it but from another component.
A new method of fastening the pumps down. I know the pics dont tell much at all but you'll see when it comes together.
Everything cut out except for the grooves.
Here's the hole close up. I need a way to fasten from the outside as oppose to the inside like the last mounting method. This is going to work nicely and it going to look good too. Even though it wont be seen. Anyways,...
This just looks very cool to me. It's like an cardboard box except its aluminum. I mean if you think about it,... it is an aluminum box. IT going to be rivited to the case. This is why I need to fasten the pumps from the outside.
This is all I got for now. As soon as I have more I will update right away. Thanks guyz! PEACE!
Looks great man, as expected from the one like Tribaloverkill. Keep up the amazing work man
Update,...................

See the little notch thing,... its to shallow. I dont know what I was thinkin. Geez. I hate moments like this,...
The notch as to be showing around the pump.
This is how long they need to be. If I realized this the first time around I would of done it differently. But this is fine.
See the holes or notches,..
I cut out the rest of the detailed work.
Drilled the mounting bracket holes mounting holes. lol.
Dear A.C Ryan, Along with all the tools and machines I asked for,... I would also like a kitchen. With a little oven or toaster and one of those tiny fridges. I would benefit from it greatly. Thanks!
Mounting holes for the shields drilled,...
Bending the old but good way,... with a hammer. Apparently my POS brake is a POS!!!! I even braced the part that swings with angle iron and it still bows! It is absolutely worthless to me!
As you can see,... using a hammer works just fine. It just takes a bit longer. I really need a heavy duty brake.
My new love,...
The heavier duty bending brakes,... have any of you actually usd one to easily bend 1/16" aluminum? I mean,... I want a brake that seriously bends 1/16" aluminum.
Come on A.C. Ryan...can we get this man a kitchen? Hell, he's been roasting marshmellows over a heat gun! Loving the work as always, also digg the "tribal-bat-sign", would make a nice logo etched into your res's. Keep it up bro! We want to see this puppy runnin!Quote:
Dear A.C Ryan, Along with all the tools and machines I asked for,... I would also like a kitchen.
Cheese steaks are like 50 gazillion times better than marshmallows
So I was going to spend all night in the studio on saturday but didnt. I was actually there just long enough to screw up the pump tower. Yup. Here's what happened,...
May-13-2007
Here's the tower almost completely bent to its finished form.
I didnt finish bending it all the way because is busted. It was hard as hell to bend! I mean damn! If you look closely in the pic here,.. you can see the corner is cracked. This is from striking the tower with a hammer during the bending process. The end of each side being bend was vibrating. Vibration being a very tiny tiny sway back and forth. Everyone knows whats happens to matel when you bend it back and forth enough times,... it gets weak and breaks. In this case the corners cracked. So the tower is worthless to me at this point.
The tower isn't even straight. It's all crooked and s@#$. I need to meaken the area of the bend to make it easier to bend.
Here's what im going to do. Up until now I have been using the dremel with a cut off disc to remove some material on the bend line to make it a bit esaier to bend. Well,... that wasnt enough. Using the dremel is sloppy means of doing what I really want to do. That being,... by milling out the bend line. Thinning it out. In the pic you see lines. They are actually grooves. I used a drill bit to cut these grooves believe it or not. I used the drill press.
Like so,...
The result,... MUCH BETTER! Actually it's 10 times better! It bent very quickly and very easily. The bend it straight as hell and its crisp and clean. So slick looking.
This is the tower bend. You see how the tower bend is more rounded and sloppy looking?
The new bend again. This is what I have to do to make this tower.
I am seriously thinking about using steel very soon. I am thinking that I will use a thinner gauge steel to make stuff like this. I would want a thin as possible without being to weak. Either that or maybe using a slightly thinner aluminum? It would be weak though. Maybe a thinner but stronger alloy aluminum? But if I used a harder aluminum alloy I would most likely have to heat it to bend it seeing the harder stuff tears more easily while bending. I am thinking a thin steel for enclosures and cover etc.
Ok,... so here's what happened when I went back to the studio,...

Here's teh new tower all drawn out and ready to be cut,...
I drilled out ALL the holes needed this time. Notice the pump holes. This is how it should of been done.
Cut out and filed,... almost ready for bending. I need to mill the bends first. I need to practice first,... need to do it again just to be sure.
The drill bit im going to use. It alot shorter then the last I one I used. This is to prevent the bit to bending while cutting.
A nice clean groove about half way deep. The long groove I'm talking about. Not the ugly one. Thats was a poor attempt using another bit.
Perfect. It worked again. Lets do it!
All the grooves cut out. If you look close you can see where the bit when running around cuttin up my friggin tower! This is because I have been feeding the aluminum into the bit in the wrong direction:( I feel so retarded. I bet if I fed it the right way it would of been so much better. What I have is good but damn! I wanted PERFECT! Anyways. This will all be hidden on the inside of the tower so it wont be seen.
About half way deep. I'm only bending 1/32" now.
DAMN! Thats was so EASY!!! OMG thats worked so well. I bend the large sides by hand using a piece of wood! It was still hard but im diesel so yea;) LOL. The reason I did it by hand is because by bending it all together like that at once,... it will be the mot even possible as oppose to bend a small section at a time. You see the difference though! holy S@#$,... it's like night and day.
I know you can seed the difference in this pic. You see how the onle on the left looks more squared? Thats the good one. So crisp.
Big difference.
Old.
New.
Sloppy.
Perfect.
Folding the rest now.
So cool.
This tower is really going to stiffen up the case.
Boxed,...
What a fit! I almost couldnt get it in. I had to like sand a tiny bit off each end to get it to fit nicely. It's very snug. I think it's a bit too snug but hot damn its close though!
Just wow.
Going to look hot!
The pump tower.
When I go back today I will start on the mounting brackets for the pumps and I will make the UV insert. I'm goign to wait to polish this stuff out. It takes so much time. I want to get a load of parts done first then I spend a day or so polishing everything out.
All I can say is awesome.
Update. A Cool one too.
May-21-2007
Two long 3/8" wide strips of aluminum. This is way more then what I need. I dont know why I made two. Oh well,...
S@#$! I used the hard or should I say CRAPPY alloy aluminum I had laying around because it'sa bit thicker then the softer aluminum. Well,... even with heat I couldnt get this S@#$ to bend. Cant even get to to bend a 90!!! Whatever,...
Here is what I'm shooting for,... This is the softer and thinner aluminum I usually use. To make that fold you see I used heat to better accomplish that.
All eight done.
WHAM! All done! And DAMN!!! They work great!!!
Look how nice and neat they look. This is a big difference from the last method I was using to hold the pumps in place. This is pro,...
Inside,...
Holding pumps,... damn thats just cool.
Inside,...
Pump shields,...
Thats so hot!!! OH MY GOD!!!
Here's a movie of my snapping one of the pumps in place. There's such a nice snap to it. It just says,"SNUG", when you hear it. I love it. It's not really snug yet though,... I left room for a foam ring like I used the last time. Once I have the ring in there,... it'll be tight as hell.
Quicktime:
Video 1
You're right man, that is just damn cool.
This is probably the craziest worklog I've ever seen. Amazing dude.
Yep awesome.
Thanks guyz! Snapping action is good!
just wondering....on the bottom pump is there enough clearance for the tubing to bend out to wherever you need it? looks like it would be a REALLY close fit
Thats sick.
Also this must be like the longest mod in tbcs history...In the would of modding you can always improve on perfection
Oh yea there is room. On the last tower there really wasnt,... I dont know what I was thinking. This time there is:) Don't look at the base of the front shields or the portion thats closest to the tower. The hose some out higher up. The hose actually comes out of the bend. Now with this type of bend on both pump shields,... these plenty of room for the hose. Plus,... the "out" barb on the pump is inside the shield so the hose starts to bend inside not on the outside. I'll have pics of this later on,....
Update. This one is kind of cool.

First for those asking about using the crill press as a millnig machine to cut grooves to make it easier to band shapes out of the aluminum,... heres some pics of the bit I used to cut the groove. The pic quality sucks because the camera is crappy. I'll let the pics explain themselves,..
Ok,... SO! Insert time. It was pretty easy. I basically cut a piece of uv green acrylic to the exact size I need and then place one end inside the tower. I then started heating it until it got soft. I then press it inside the the tower using the piece of wood. I clamped that piece of wood to the acrylic right over the large grooves to keep it from moving. I then heat the acrylic,... I heat only the area where I want it to bend,... once it was nice and soft I use another piece of wood and press it in the rest of the way and then clamped it to the side right over the small grooves. That was it! It was even there snug seeing that I had it under pressure when hot. You know,... it expanded a bit. Plus the tower is ABSOLUTELY perfect because one end is ever so slightly wider then the other. So sliding this insert out did prove to be a slight pain. But I got it. I sanded it down enough that it slides in and out easily.
Looks nice:)
Now,... this is the top of the tower. Notice that the tabs are missing. The main reason why I removed them was that I wanted to try and limit how many bolts there are showing on the top of the case. And as a an added bonus,... I cant slide the insert out. ALSO,... the tower was a bit more snug inside the case then I was comforable with. The floor of the case was being pushed down a bit to much. I think by a 1/16". I dont know how this happened. The tower was tal by exactly 1/16". Oh well.
Ok,... back panel time! This is the back panel for the tower that will go in the back obviously. This is so i can get to wires and such back there.
I rounded the edges nicely so they arent like,... squared.
Cool ehh?
Now I need something that is going to hold the insert nice and snug so that it doesnt vibrate and pull from the tower, even though it really doesnt pull from the tower but hey,... I'm need of another little gadget something. This is it! A,..... CLIP THINGY!
How cool is that! It will get rivited to the tower and the case. You just slide the insert between the tower and the clip. Done.
Like so,...
Here I installed the bolts that hold the back panel on,... I really wish I had a TIG welder. I want to make invisible fastners for a bolt free look. Oh well. This is fine for now. I'm using thread-serts for this.
S@#$!
Thread-serts in the way of the insert! That space is tight too. The thread-sert is right in front the the little grooves on the side. I could just cut an 1/8" off the side of the insert but that would be cutting close for comfort. The very very end of the little grooves might go uncovered. So,....
I'm going to cut a notch or another groove. I'm using a router bit this time. Router bit are designed to cut sideways. You should only cut a little bit a time depth wise and horizontally too. I cut right to my target depth and that was harsh as hell! LOL.
All done. Just need to be cleaned up a bit
All done. Notice how I cut each end of the groove on an angle like that. Thats so that one day you dont accidently chip the grooves end off. Its the weakest point of the groove. The angle gives strength.
Nice little groove,...
Slides right back it. I know all the grooves are absolutely covered now and I feel that much better about it!
Lit up.
Teaser pic,....
I have off tonight and I slept last night so I'll be going to the studio early today and I'll be there all day and all night working on this. Which mean I will most likely finish this and then move onto the PSU! Unless I run into a problem or something,...
The Kewlist Project Iv'e ever seen! +Rep
What do you use to cut out all of those perfect lines?
Envious to say the least. -ecK
Very nice! I love the green plexi too. I'll be doing some stuff with that eventually for my personal case. But it won't be as cool as yours!
Hey Tribal,
I like the new water pump covers, but admittedly I liked the old ones better. Why did you decide to scrap those old curved versions? I obviously don't have the artistic ability that you have but in my lowly opinion the shape of the new covers is becoming repetative (compared with the PSU cover). Either way it looks great dude, you certainly are methodical and have unparalleled metal working skills! Another thing that might be helpful for some of the newer folks is a review post showing the overall build so far and what you did with that radiator housing attachment. Keep it up man, that copy of Half-Life 2 needs a comp to call home!
I scrapped the old pump shield desing because I thought it didnt work with what I was doing. Plus,... it was poorly designed. The tubes had very little room for bends. There's only one more thing that will have this shape and thats the PSU. The shape is repetitive but,..... i dont know. I didnt plan any of this out! LOL. This is all on-the-fly work here, lol.
Tribaloverkill that is some fantastic work. I will be keeping my eyes on your progress. +Rep
Thank you sir:)
