Ain't that the truth. My parent's computer died over the weekend, so guess where the mobo for this is heading?
Yep, ma and pa have a beefier machine than me now. I gotta do something about that in the near future.
Plus, I've been debating on just what all this particular machine is going to do. I've also got some other ideas that I'm kicking around as well. They'll be made public soon, I promise.
In other news, I've primed everything, just looking for the time to paint.
Re: Project: Frankenstripe
cool man wanna see more of this one
Re: Project: Frankenstripe
And from the ashes rises the Phoenix.
We are officially on to Mach 3 with this build. Nearly everything has been scrapped and we're starting over again. The NZXT Gamma that I recently reviewed will be the recipient of the striped paintjob, a smaller window and some serious hardware.
If nothing else, I'm still having fun with this!

Re: Project: Frankenstripe
Alright, side window and 4 chrome thumbscrews ordered from FrozenCPU. Should be here some time next week, then the Gamma case is going to meet Mr. Dremel!
And my latest mobo plans go derailed as I didn't act fast enough on buying and now Newegg isn't carrying said boards any more. So now I have narrowed my choices to:
Elitegroup
MSI
DFI
The DFI board is leading the pack at the moment. Need to do some more research on all three of them before I make the purchase.
Getting some dremel cutoff wheels a bit later today. Also spending some uber cash at the lumber yard this weekend as well--garage here I come!
Edit: almost forgot, I may have a line on some other goodies from ebay. Just waiting to hear from the seller regarding dimensions, so I can figure out placement.
