I play L4D2 frequently over LAN with my bro, it's pretty fun but the novelty wares off pretty quickly.
Been playing Resident Evil 5. Got it on the 11th during the buy two get one free sale Gamestop was doing. Got it using a gift card that I got for my Birthday on the 10th.
Anyway, I've beat it once. Playing it again right now. Working on getting any missed treasure/weapons, maxing out weapons, and trying to do all that in under 5 hours. After that I'm going to do it again on Veteran, and try to get all the emblems.
Need to get RE4 now.
Beat the remastered God of War 2. Didn't like it as much as the first. The combat is all there, but his character seems different. I mean, you know he's an ass from the first game, but his motives seemed more reasonable. Still a good game though.
Almost finished with 3D Dot Game Heroes. Sweet game. Like a new version of the original Zelda, but with a meets Minecraft style graphics. Really really enjoying it, and plenty of sidequests to keep you busy with NG+ modes.
Playing Metal Gear Solid (ps1) on the ps3 now. Good ol' nostalgia.
My cousin just came over so you guys talking about L4D2 made me hook up my rig with an HDMI cable, and run splitscreen with two 360 controllers. Pretty fun, but I just can't get into it for a long time.
I don't play enough for the slight deviations the director sends the horde goes right above me. It always seems like the same thing, and just a bit monotonous after a while. I wish the campaign had more depth, but then if you do that you can't necessarily use the levels directly in multiplayer.
Guess part of me is just jonesing for a new Valve single player focused game. They are generally the only games I will go out of my way to pay full price for on day one.
I'm waiting for Valve to add a "3D" in front of there name...
Finished up 3D Dot Game Heroes. Really enjoyed that one. A bit generic, but was old school brought back in a fresh way. So much extra quests I can go back and do too.
But, Demon's Souls keeps calling me even though I beat it already. I can't think of any game really, well recently anyway, that has drawn me back and made me want to play it over and over again. This one has. I quite like this one. Already halfway through another play through. Nice having time to just relax a bit with classes over.
I beat Storm King, Tower Knight, Flamelurker, and Dragon God in Demon's Souls all without dying. The counts as an accomplishment to me, lol.
Then I walked into the Penetrator fight and got one shotted. Also forgot to save Biorr.
Those with PS3's need to at the very least try this game.
