I just picked up a Canon EOS3000V SLR

Yes, a film one hehe - goin to do a short photography course at college and was told I'd have to have a film SLR for part of it - cost me..... £18 - thats about $28 heh

Course, now I need to buy a lens - it was body only dammit !!

There are places where you can RENT lenses. Might be worth looking for in your area.

I just grabbed my first semi-professional camera, A LUMIX DMC-FZ47

It's first photo was this:

But more exciting for me is I got my first car, A 2002 PT Cruiser

I also grabbed a new audio deck and adapter plate, so I'll snap a picture of that when it goes in

i always thought the pt cruizers were neat retro cars. like little 40's style panel trucks. definitely a "usable" vehicle.

Yea, I always really liked the styling of them

any car that can fit 3 bikes and 3 passengers in it is pretty awesome in my book man.

And, with a few mods, the turbo version can boogie. ;)
