Bass is amazingly fun, however difficult for most mainstream bands (but 6 year olds could play Nirvana)

Once you get good though, it's lots of fun, especially if you can improvise stuff.

That would be a tab. Go to Google and search "tool bass tabs" and you'll find LOADS. I started learning Schism on guitar (and the bass part for ****s and giggles) and it was pretty fun.
